Yuki Team members Juan Cánovas and Chris O’Sullivan have made history by securing top positions at the 40th Shore Angling World Championships held in Peñíscola (Spain) from 16th til 23rd November 2024. In a testament to their skill and determination, they achieved gold and silver medals, respectively, despite really challenging conditions , both anglers were crucial to help their nations hitting in the podium. Big shoutout to Ireland for fishing out their comfort zone and exhibiting a brilliant performance!

This remarkable achievement is further complemented by the outstanding performance of the Spanish national teams, both the male and female teams exhibited exceptional skill, clinching the silver medal in their respective categories.

Juan Cánovas was crowned the world champion, while Sandra Pimpollo secured another silver medal in the women’s individual category. Their refined technique, unwavering focus, and competitive spirit were instrumental in these victories.

Even in a championship characterized by scarce and small sized catches, the Spanish teams showcased adaptability and teamwork, overcoming challenges and emerging as formidable competitors.
