Saikou Travel

The Yuki Saikou Travel rod is designed for surf anglers on the move who want to avoid bulky 1.5-metre transport tubes and oversized airline luggage fees. Its 5-piece layout collapses down to an 85-centimetre closed length, allowing it to fit diagonally inside large suitcases, duffel bags, or neatly into the boot of a car. When assembled, it extends to 4.00 metres, delivering a solid and balanced blank built for heavy surf fishing on open coastal marks.

Unlike the Neox Travel, which handles extreme loads up to 800 grams, the Saikou Travel features a 150 to 500-gram casting weight with an optimal sweet spot between 200 and 400 grams. Its ultra-slim S-SLHMC carbon blank displays a slightly more progressive bend through the upper third, loading more easily on the cast without requiring excessive physical effort. The tubular Power tip holds firm against cross-currents and heavy swells without losing line tension or dulling bite detection.

Fitted with Fuji KW tangle-free guides, it prevents wind knots when casting heavy mono or braid in demanding conditions. It features an adjustable WeBo DPS sliding reel seat that lets you fine-tune the reel height to match your arm span and casting leverage.

It includes a padded compartment bag to protect each section on your travels.
